There are whispers on the racquet forum about a new Head racquet prototype called MXG 3. They’re also launching a new string, a hybrid, called PRIMAL.

Here is the patent filed by Head, called “Power under control”.

The Head prototype on paper sounds very similar to a Prince Tour 100 model, but I would guess that it will be quite a bit stiffer than the Prince Tour racquets famous flexibility (around 50+ RA). Could potentially be a Babolat Pure Drive competitor.

Poster “Racketking” writes on Tennis Warehouse forum: Beam shape is is also like the Babolat Aero Pro in terms of cross section so it’s not just 24mm tall but wide across the width of the beam and slightly triangular and 24/26/22 across the length of the racket. It’s what you’d typically call a ‘wide beam’ construction. Hoop is noticeably longer in length.
Main strings are noticeably longer in length.
