Robin Haase has the talent to play big game tennis, but he often seems to let himself down. Not so against Tomas Berdych in Dubai. Haase played a composed and great match beating the Czech 3-6 6-3 6-4. Robin Haase endorses the Head Graphene XT Prestige Rev Pro strung with Head Sonic Pro White, but what is actually underneath the paint job is a good old Prestige Classic 600 (used by such legends as Goran Ivanisevic, to name one) with the pro stock code of Head PT10.
A lot of people might suggest that you can’t play modern tennis with a head size of 89.5 sq inches, but it doesn’t seem to bother Robin Haase at all. Okay, he can’t swing like Dominic Thiem or Rafael Nadal, but if you have a solid game and good timing you can hit the ball flat and still win matches on the ATP World Tour. It actually makes sense that he could beat Berdych, because Berdych also hits the ball very flat and hard. A very classical match in a dual sense!
If you want a racquet with ultimate control and feel, there are not many better racquets than the +20 year old Head Classic 600, but unless you are a pro they can be hard to find today. Luckily, there are other great control racquets with a lovely flexible feel and here I must again mention my Tecnifibre Tfight 315 Ltd
– a true (timeless) blast from the past.

The black new frame is probably a pt57a 18×20. I think he have to try a 16×19 pattern for more security in his shots.
