Where to buy a tennis racquet?

by Jonas Eriksson

You’ve read the reviews and you’ve found a racquet you want to buy. Now the question is: where do you buy it? Do you buy in the local tennis store (If any?) or do you buy it online?

I’ve bought and sold countless of racquets over the years. Not to make profit, but because testing new racquets is a passion of mine (this shouldn’t be of any news to you loyal tennisnerd readers!). I’ve bought them from various places as well, online, offline, used, new.

But it’s become a fact that buying things online is usually cheap(er) and easy. Shipping is so fast these days and the risk that they don’t have the racquet you want in your local store is sometimes high depending on the racquet you want to buy.

These are sites I’ve partnered with (and bought from):

Europe
Racquet Depot
Pro Direct Tennis

USA
Tennis Express
Do It Tennis

There are obviously lots of others, such as Tennis Warehouse, Amazon, eBay and many more, so the selection is vast. However, the above ones have always provided quick and convenient service for me. Although I must say I’m personally a sucker for Amazon’s crazy selection and dedication to customer happiness.

Good luck! And for any tennis racquet related question, don’t hesitate to comment!
