Volkl C10 Pro

by TN

I visited the Estepona Tenis Club to hit with local coach Stan. We had a nice session and also talked about his racquet, the Volkl C10 Pro.

The Estepona Tenis Club is a beautiful venue with some nice courts, so if you’re in the Marbella area, why not go there and play some tennis? Stan also seems to be an excellent coach if you’re looking for help with your game. He has used the Volkl C10 Pro for a while, without any added weight. The only customization he did was to make sure the racquets were matched. And he also changed the butt cap to a Babolat one for a firmer feel, as the C10 Pro has a Twin Absorber Handle System and Soft Butt Cap to absorb unwanted shock and vibration. Many advanced players don’t like when the feel becomes too dampened.

The Volkl C10 Pro has been around for a while and the specs never change, only the design. I think the current one is the best one yet, just clean and yellow. The specifications of the C10 Pro are heavy, but although it’s kind of an old-school racquet with a thin beam, it has a slightly higher stiffness and a more open pattern than many classic frames.

The Volkl C10 Pro is a great frame for advanced players who can handle weight. You don’t see many Volkl racquets around the clubs, which is a bit of a shame because they still produce some quality racquets. The C10 Pro might be the most premium-feeling advanced player frame of the bunch.

You get good feel, some power, some spin and a nice solid, but not sluggish feel. If you like racquet with thin beams and nice beefy weights, the C10 Pro should be on your demo list.

Buy it at Tennis Warehouse, Tennis Warehouse Europe or Tennis Only and a small commission is sent to Tennisnerd. Thanks.
