Wimbledon has become a far more dramatic tournament than Roland Garros and the results have been very difficult to predict. But this is how tennis should be! Federer got a “get out of jail free”-card against a “bring-back-US-Open-2014-monster-serving-Cilic” and luckily for my own nerves I was on a tennis court myself at the time of the match. The nasty weather in Europe continues and Wimbledon has become a quite hard tournament to follow. My plan was to predict the matches ahead of each round and post accordingly, but it’s become difficult to keep up the rhythm with all the broken rounds so I will post all my predictions for the rest of the tournament below. It’s time for the third and arguably most prestigious slam of the year: Wimbledon! This also means it’s time for some TennisNerd predictions. The French Open predictions went very well with 75% correct score, but I honestly think it will be tougher this time with grass being a special surface where specialists rule and ranking upsets tend to happen.
