New racquets in 2023

I made a video about some exciting new racquets in 2023. The big question is, which one are you most interested in?

New Racquets in 2023

New year, new start. Lots of exciting things to look forward to (at least in theory!).

In the below video, I go through some of the exciting new racquets to come in H1 of 2023. The racquet companies plan two years ahead, but this is what I know is planned for 2023. Of course, there will be many more racquets, but let’s focus on the first half of the year. Have I missed anything? Let me know in the comments below.

If you want to purchase a racquet or string, please consider checking out my affiliates at Tennis Warehouse, Tennis Warehouse Europe or Tennis Only.

Racquets mentioned in the video

Babolat Pure Aero Rafa 2023 – Smashing design now revealed on Instagram by Rafa Nadal and himself and some other posters.
Yonex VCORE 2023 – I have talked and written in-depth about this interesting update from Yonex here.

Dunlop FX V2 – I covered these racquets in a recent post.

Wilson Shift – an exciting new line that is supposed to bridge the gap between power and control frames. Sort of like a HEAD Speed.

Babolat Pure Aero 98 – I am testing this racquet right now. An update to Babolat’s bestseller as used by Carlos Alcaraz and Holger Rune.

Wilson Pro Staff 97 V14 – Not much info out about this one yet. But it should be a big release for tennis fans worldwide. Check out my review for V13 here.

Babolat Pure Strike V4 – This update is overdue. Maybe if Thiem gets back to winning ways we can find excellent timing for Babolat’s attacking racquet.

Diadem Elevate V3 – This racquet is coming early next year and I hope to get a demo for a review.

HEAD Radical Auxetic – The Radical is HEAD’s Blade (versatile control line) and important in HEAD’s line-up. Will the Auxetic technology make it better or worse over the 360+?

HEAD Gravity Auxetic – This line has become very popular among club players as well as pros. How can Auxetic improve it?

What will Tecnifibre do? The TF-X1 is due an update. Will it be called TF-X2?
