Laslo Djere is a Serbian top 100 player with three ATP titles to his name, but what is Djere’s racquet and gear?

Laslo Djere’s tennis racquet

Laslo Djere’s racquet is the Wilson Blade 98 V9 18/20, but that is the cosmetic. Like with most pros, he is using a different model than what he is endorsing. On Pro Stock Tennis, you can purchase his personal racquet and find out the specifications. The racquet measured was from 2020, so he might have tweaked it after that. But it is an older version of the 18/20 Blade.

It was strung with Luxilon Alu Power 1.25 at 25 kg (55 lbs) mains and 24 kg (53 lbs) crosses.

Laslo Djere was born on 2nd June 1995, in Senta, Serbia. A member of Serbiaโ€™s Hungarian community, Djere began playing tennis at age five. On the junior tour, he won five singles titles and got to a career-high combined ranking of no 3 in May 2013.

Later that year, Laslo turned pro, and had a lot of success on the tour. He has won three ATP singles titles, all on clay: the Rio Open (ATP 500) in 2019, the Sardegna Open (ATP 250) in 2020, and the Chile Open (ATP 250) in 2025.

His most recent run in Santiago in March 2025, saw him defeat defending champion Sebastiรกn Bรกez 6-4, 3-6, 7-5, ending a nearly five-year title drought and that got him back into the top 100 (currently at no 74).

Highlights include his first ATP win at the 2017 Grand Prix Hassan II and a breakthrough into the top 30 after his 2019 Rio title. When looking at the Grand Slams, the Serbian’s best performances are third-round appearances at the Roland Garros (2019, 2021).
