Dimitrov vs. de Minaur

Date: 11 April 2025
Time: 14:00 CEST
Head-to-Head: Dimitrov 2 – 4 de Minaur

Grigor Dimitrov has also won four of his last five matches coming into this quarterfinal. His toughest challenge so far in Monte Carlo came today in the round of 16, where he needed three sets and two hours to overcome Tabilo. In the decisive third set, Dimitrov held firm and did not face a single breakpoint. Read more about Dimitrov’s current racquet.

Alex de Minaur (image on top) matches Dimitrovโ€™s form, with four wins in his last five appearances. He opened his Monte Carlo campaign with a three-set win over Machac, coming from a set down to turn the match around. In todayโ€™s round of 16, de Minaur was dominant, securing a convincing straight-sets win over Medvedev.

Best Bet

Bookmakers list de Minaur as the favorite, and this seems justified based on current performance. His display against Medvedev was particularly impressive. While it is true that Medvedev appeared fatigued after a couple of long matches, de Minaurโ€™s consistency and pace still stood out. Given his favorable head-to-head record and recent form, we expect de Minaur to secure another victory over Dimitrov.

Therefore, backing de Minaur to win offers value.

Musetti vs. Tsitsipas

Date: 11 April 2025
Time: 15:30 CEST
Head-to-Head: Musetti 0 – 5 Tsitsipas

Lorenzo Musetti has won four of his last five matches and appears to be finding rhythm on the clay. His opening two matches in Monte Carlo were demanding three-set encounters, but he came through both with poise. In the round of 16, Musetti delivered a dominant performance to defeat Berrettini in straight sets.

Stefanos Tsitsipas (image below) also comes in having won three of his last five matches. Today, he put in one of his most convincing performances of the season, defeating Borges in straight sets in the round of 16. Tsitsipas is a three-time champion in Monte Carlo, having won the title in three of the last four editions. He is also the defending champion. For the nerds, what is Tsitsipas racquet?

Best Bet to Make

Tsitsipas is the clear favorite according to the odds, and we share the same view. His track record in Monte Carlo is outstanding, and his head-to-head dominance over Musetti on clay (4-0) underscores the matchup advantage. Given his experience, form, and confidence on this surface, we expect Tsitsipas to progress further in the tournament.

Thus, backing Tsitsipas to win is a sound betting option.

Value bet / Best odds: Stefanos Tsitsipas to win

Fils vs. Alcaraz

Date: 11 April 2025
Time: 12:30 CEST
Head-to-Head: First meeting

Arthur Fils comes into the quarterfinals in strong form, having won four of his last five matches. His Monte Carlo campaign began with a hard-fought victory over Griekspoor in three closely contested sets. In the second round, he outplayed Cobolli with relative ease. Earlier today, in the round of 16, Fils produced a commanding performance to defeat Rublev in straight sets.

Carlos Alcaraz, meanwhile, has won three of his last five matches. He opened his Monte Carlo run with a three-set win over Cerundolo, recovering strongly after losing the first set 3-6 by conceding only one game in the remainder of the match. In todayโ€™s round of 16, Alcaraz delivered a confident straight-sets victory over Altmaier.

Best Bet to Make

The bookmakers have installed Alcaraz as the favorite for this encounter, and we concur with that assessment. The Spaniard displayed his top form against Altmaier and appears to be gaining momentum. Although Fils has shown resilience and quality, his current level and style of play are unlikely to pose a serious threat to Alcaraz.

With that in mind, backing Alcaraz to cover the games handicap represents good value and that’ll be our betting tips for this clash.

Value bet / Best odds: Carlos Alcaraz to win -4.5 games handicap @ 2.10 or +110
