Jacopo Vasami, a left-handed promising talent from Italy, might be one of the next big stars on the tour. But what is Vasami’s racquet and gear?

Jacopo Vasami’s tennis racquet

Jacopo Vasami’s tennis racquet is, like many pros, a Wilson Blade 98 16/19. He strings it with Luxilon Alu Power, but we don’t know the string tension or his exact racquet specifications.

He is most likely using an older generation Blade 98, but it is painted like the latest V9. The Blade 98 remains one of the most popular racquets among advanced players to the pro tour.

About Vasami

Jacopo Vasami was born on December 19th, 2007, in Italy, and has established himself as a promising talent on the junior and professional circuits. At just 17, he’s competing primarily on the ITF and ATP Challenger tours while ranked at no 8 in the ITF junior rankings as of early 2025.

Vasamiโ€™s breakout came in 2024, when he got a 43-14 record in junior events. In 2025, he transitioned to senior competition, debuting at the ATP Challenger level. We’ve seen steady progress and impressive performances at the Barletta Challenger and the Monza Challenger (reached quarterfinals).

Currently ranked at world no 1138, and at almost $3k in won prize money, it will be exciting to follow the career of Jacopo Vasami (one of many talented Italian tennis players).
