Monfils vs Korda

H2H: 1-0

Gael Monfils has won four of his last five matches. Monfils won all three matches in three tight sets this week in Miami. In the third round, the Frenchman defeated Munar in three tight sets. Last season in Miami, the Frenchman lost in the third round against Alcaraz in straight sets. He has never made it past the quarterfinals. Read more about Monfils racquet.

Sebastian Korda has lost three of his last five matches. This week in Miami, Korda won both matches in straight sets. He defeated Tsitsipas in the third round in straight sets. Last season in Miami, Korda lost against Hurkacz in the third round.

Best Bet to Make

According to the tennis bookies, Korda is the slight favorite in this matchup, and we agree. This has been a disappointing season for Korda. However, he stepped up his level this week in Miami. On the other hand, Monfils spent almost three hours on the court in his last match and will be exhausted for this matchup. We expect Korda to be a better player and win.

That being said, Korda winning is a value bet.

Predictions / the best odds: Sebastian Korda winning @ 1.62 or -162.5

Musetti vs Djokovic

H2H: 1-7

Lorenzo Musetti has won three of his last five matches. This week in Miami, Musetti struggled in both matches. Musetti lost the opening set against Auger-Aliassime in the third round but turned it around. Last season in Miami, he lost in the fourth round to Alcaraz in straight sets.

Novak Djokovic has lost three of his last five matches. The Serb was lethal this week in Miami, winning both matches in straight sets. Djokovic is a six-time champion here. His last appearance here was in 2019 when he lost to Bautista-Agut in three sets.

Best Bet

According to the bookmakers, Djokovic is the big favorite in this matchup, but we disagree. He has had a favorable draw so far, and this will be his toughest challenge so far in the tournament. Musetti is a dangerous player, and we expect him to keep this match tight.

That being said, Musetti covering the games handicap is a value bet.

Predictions / the best odds: Lorenzo Musetti +3.5 games handicap @ 1.91 or -110

Ruud vs Cerundolo

H2H: 3-4

Casper Ruud has won three of his last five matches. This week in Miami, Ruud won the opening-round match against Kecmanovic in three tight sets. In the third round, the Norwegian defeated Tabilo in straight sets.

Francisco Cerundolo has won four of his last five matches. This week in Miami, the Argentine won both matches in straight sets. In the third round, Cerundolo upset Tommy Paul in straight sets. Read more on Cerundolo’s racquet and gear.

Best Bet

Looking at the odds at the sportsbooks, this will be a 50-50 matchup, but we disagree here. Cerundolo played great in Indian Wells, where he reached the quarterfinals. He dominated both matches this week in Miami, and we expect him to be confident coming into this matchup. Cerundolo won the last two head-to-head meetings against Ruud on hard courts, and we expect him to continue in that fashion.

That being said, Cerundolo winning is a value bet.

Predictions / the best odds: Francisco Cerundolo winning @ 1.91 or -110
