Humbert not slowing down

We can easily say that Ugo Humbert has been one of the most in-form players on the tour this season and he had no problem taking out Patrick Kypson in his first test at the BNP Paribas Open.

The Frenchman comes from an impressive win at the ATP Dubai where he defeated some big names like Medvedev. Going into the Indian Wells Masters, his form seems to be the same, winning 85% of his first serve points so far.

Tommy Paul got a comfortable win in the previous round against Alex Michelsen (6-2, 6-2) but this test will be tougher.

Paul is also a big serve player and the conditions here suit him well, as well as the fact that he’s on home ground of course. He’s also shown he can deal with the pressure in big games and has a good chance here.

Predictions and Odds Paul vs Humbert

The bookmakers odds are very even for this clash at around 1.90 | 10/11 | -110 for both players.

While Tommy Paul has got a good chance here if he can serve well, the recent form and results from Ugo will give him the edge. We’ll go for below bets.

  • Win for Ugo Humbert Odds 1.91 | 10/11 | -110
