The last year I’ve been playing almost exclusively with Head Prestige IG MPÂ and it’s probably the racket which I’ve had most consistent results with. Especially since I switched the grips to TK82S (Wilson shape) and added lead to the 3 and 9 o’clock positions, it’s been playing like a dream. A lot thanks to my Babolat RPM blast strings too.
But the search for the PERFECT racquet never ceases and I couldn’t help being intrigued by these two reviews of the Volkl Powerbridge Mid 10:

So I had to order it! And today I’m giving it my first play-test. Having used Wilson Pro Staff BLX 90 for quite a while but then switching because it was too unforgiving, might mean I’m making the same mistake twice, but on the other hand, the Volkl Powerbridge Mid 10 head-size is 93 inches, not 90 so there might be something there. Well, it simply sounds too good not to test. Will be back here with a review of course, but need a few hits!
