New Boom racquets have been released, one of them being the HEAD Boom TEAM. It’s a great frame for beginners to lower-level intermediates.
The HEAD Boom TEAM is light, powerful, spin-friendly and easy on the arm. If you’re looking for a racquet that is easy to use for a beginner or weekend warrior on the intermediate level, the Boom TEAM should be on your demo list.
You can buy the HEAD Boom TEAM from Tennis Warehouse, Tennis Warehouse Europe or Tennis Only. But if you’re reading this not long after posting, you can also win the racquet in my new Tennisnerd giveaway on Instagram and YouTube. All you need to do to enter is to subscribe to both channels/accounts, and you’re in the draw on Friday 20th of May.
I will do more giveaways in the future, so make sure to subscribe and stay tuned. There will also be specific newsletter giveaways, so don’t forget to subscribe to the weekly TN newsletter.

As you can see the Boom TEAM has manageable not anemic or unstable specs. The swing weight is balanced, the stiffness will not bother sensitive elbows and there is plenty of power and spin potential from the 102 sq inch racquet head and 16×19 string pattern.
In the pictures, the racquet is strung with a new HEAD hybrid string setup I’m testing. It will be revealed later and released in 2023.
The HEAD Boom family
There are of course heavier and more demanding racquets in the Boom family.
Check out my HEAD Boom Pro review, my HEAD Boom MP Review and if you’re unsure of which racquet to choose, there is also the HEAD Boom MP vs Pro comparison.
