I am launching my tennis racquet course called “How to Choose a Tennis Racquet” on the Tennisnerd Patreon page. One post is open to the public, to see the rest you need to subscribe on Patreon for as little as $2 a month. I hope you find it worth your while to support Tennisnerd.
In the “How to Choose a Tennis Racquet” course, I have published four different chapters until now:
- Who are you? Identifying your playing style and level is key to choosing a tennis racquet.
- Different head sizes. We go through the various differences when it comes to tennis racquets. We will also do this with strings. This is currently an open post if you want to check it out!
- String patterns. The string pattern is an important part of understanding what racquet works for your game.
- Beam width and stiffness. The stiffness of a racquet is very important to consider if you suffer from elbow or wrist pain for example.
Upcoming chapters will deal with weight, racquet materials, string materials, customizing your racquets, balance points, shaped or round strings, hybrid or full bed. We will then we get to the various steps of testing a racquet and finding out if it is for you or not.
How to Choose a Tennis Racquet – What you get
I know it is frustrating with so-called pay-walls, but you can subscribe for $2 (less than a price of a cup of coffee!) and if you don’t find the content useful, you can unsubscribe at any time. I am deeply appreciative to anyone who supports Tennisnerd and will give priority on racquet and string questions to Patreon subscribers. If you subscribe to Tennisnerd Patreon on the higher tiers, you will also get access to racquet and string consultation over Skype, Whatsapp or e-mail.
I am now curious about what content you would like to see on Patreon or the other Tennisnerd.net channels. Please comment below!
