Barbora Krejcikova’s racquet

by Jonas Eriksson

Barbora Krejcikova did not have a great tennis year until last week when she (out of nowhere) won Wimbledon! What is Krejcikova’s racquet?

Krejcikova won the French Open in singles in 2021 and has been a stellar doubles player with an Olympic Gold and seven Grand Slam titles together with Katerina Siniakova. She has shown that she can perform of on the biggest stages in tennis, over and over again. But most Wimbledon predictions did not include Krejcikova as a contender for the women’s Wimbledon title. Players like Rybakina, Swiatek, Sabalenka and Gauff were all far more likely.

But she got it done after defeating French Open finalist, Jasmine Paolini, in the final 6–2, 2–6, 6–4.

Krejcikova’s racquet

Krejcikova still endorses the outgoing HEAD Extreme MP with the “avocado” cosmetic. But like most pro players, she is not using the racquet she is endorsing. Underneath the cosmetic is a HEAD Youtek IG Extreme Pro with a rounder head shape and the pro stock code TGT 285.

This racquet was a favorite of many aggressive baseliners and possibly the most popular HEAD Extreme racquet thus far. We will see if the new HEAD Extreme 2024 racquets can rival it. We are working on a review here at Tennisnerd as we write this.

Krejcikova’s racquet is strung with Luxilon Alu Power 1.25. We are not sure about her string tension.

What do you think of Krejcikova’s game? Can she win even more Grand Slam titles?
