Sponsorship Changes 2024

by Jonas Eriksson

The sponsorship changes in gear and apparel for 2024 are coming in. Here are a few early spots (more to come).

Before we look at the early sponsorship changes in 2024, I want to thank you, fellow tennis nerds on Instagram, who always message us when you spot something interesting. You’re appreciated!

Iga Swiatek changes racquet?

Iga Swiatek is no longer playing with her signature racquet, Tempo 298 IGA. However, according to sources, she uses the same racquet and specs, just endorsing the Tecnifibre Tfight ISO 300 instead. My guess is that Tecnifibre wants to get rid of the Tempo line and focus on Tfight, TF40 and TF-X1. That makes sense to me.

No matter what racquet she uses, Iga is my favorite to win the Australian Open 2024. But more odds and predictions to come for that event.

Roberto Bautista Agut to Mizuno

Former top-ten player Bautista Agut is no longer with longtime sponsor Lacoste and is now wearing Mizuno apparel. No matter what he wears, it is difficult to see the Spaniard climb back into the top ten, let alone the top 20 in the world.

Gijs Brouwer to the Babolat Pure Strike

Dutch ATP player Gijs Brouwer has been playing with a Wilson Blade 98 for most of his career. But he has recently been seen playing with the new Babolat Pure Strike 2024. You can read our Babolat Pure Strike 2024 review.

Beatriz Haddad Maia to Asics

WTA star Beatriz Haddad Maia has announced her partnership with Asics in 2024. Before she was sporting Joma apparel.

Stefanos Tsitsipas testing new strings

This is not a sponsorship update, but since we covered Iga endorsing a different racquet line, we also have to mention some gear updates in this post.

Stefanos Tsitsipas has been seen testing new strings. They are very red, but that is all we know at the moment. If you have followed this website and YouTube channel, you know that Tsitsipas has tried a few different string setups in recent times. We will see if he starts the Australian Open with this new string setup. More to come on the topic.

Daniil Medvedev’s new string setup

Daniil Medvedev switched from Razor Code white strings to Razor Soft in 2023. After he switched, he won something like four tournaments in a row. Now he has been seen with some kind of hybrid. It looks like it could be a mix of his old string and new string, but who knows. We will keep you posted as this develops.

Dino Prizmic to the Blade V9

Talented Croatian teenager Dino Prizmic was using the Babolat Pure Aero in 2023. Now he has been seen on the Challenger tour using a Blade V9 cosmetic.
