Tommy Robredo has had a rough couple of years with injuries and inconsistent results. In 2007 he was a top ten player, but he’s currently ranked 438 in the world. Today he plays his first match at Miami Open against Nikoloz Bashilashvili (click the name to learn what racquet Bashilashvili uses). What racquet will Robredo bring to the court?
Robredo has been using the pro stock racquet Dunlop option 2CÂ for pretty much all of his career although he has been endorsing other racquets in the Dunlop line. He’s currently endorsing the Dunlop Force 98 Tour. He strings his racquet with Luxilon Alu Power 16. The Dunlop Option 2C is based on a Dunlop revelation mould, which in turn is very similar to a Wilson Six One 95 / Wilson Pro Staff Classic but without the Wilson PWS system.
Let’s hope Robredo can bring back time soon much like Roger Federer has done during the 2017 season. After all, the Spaniard did 13 consecutive seasons in the top 50 so he is truly a quality player and has all the shots in his game.
