How strong is your mental tennis game? If I had asked myself that question a year ago, I would have rated myself 3/10. But that has changed.
How strong is your mental tennis game?
How would you rate your mental tennis game? I am maybe at a six now, or at least a five on a scale of 1-10. I have seen some improvement over the last year, partly thanks to my work with Mental Tennis, featured in the video below. I have worked on playing well in key moments and trying to be more stable in terms of consistency overall.
I can’t say my stressed and over-aggressive play is completely gone, but I have managed it better and tried to play with more patience in my matches. It has not been an easy journey, but I am happy to have seen some improvement.
Besides working with mental tennis, I have also tried the app Apeak, which is an interesting resource for players who want to work on visualization and purpose when playing tennis.
