Roger Federer

Federer has made an indelible impression on the sport throughout his lengthy career, noted for his grace, delicacy and exceptional shot-making skill. He looks happy in retirement but millions of tennis fans will miss him at Wimbledon 2023.

Serena Williams

Williams is by many called the GOAT, the greatest player of all time. She did not manage to win that elusive 24th Grand Slam, but those 23 titles is the most in modern tennis. Serena’s unwavering determination, ferocious competitiveness, and ability to perform well under duress always made her a force to be reckoned with. Her strong groundstrokes, intense serve, and unparalleled agility excited competitors and spectators and she will of course be missed by tennis fans worldwide during Wimbledon 2023.

Rafael Nadal

Rafael Nadal has been ranked as the world’s top player for 209 weeks, and he currently holds the record for the most consecutive weeks. But lately, he has struggled with a hip injury and missed both the French Open and Wimbledon. Nadal will likely be back towards the end of the season and has said that 2024 will be his final year on tour. When Nadal retires, the void will be felt around the tennis world. But luckily, we might have a few more tournaments with the tennis legend as soon as he gets back from injury.
