Has Wawrinka gotten past his second separation/divorce from his wife? After all, it seem to have been a rather nasty break-up after a letter from his wife was publicised where he was rather harshly criticised by her and blamed to be the reason for the break-up. A statement sounded: “his instability and the wish to regain freedom in all areas are the reason for the split up”. She then wrote that repeated lies and breach of faith destroyed all the trust she had in him.
Relationships are between two people and I don’t want to write the daily gossip column but it was rather obvious that Wawrinka was affected by the situation, especially in his loss against Dimitrov in Monte Carlo where he hardly seemed able to strike the ball. Right now he’s playing competent dirt-baller Joao Sousa in Madrid. Wawrinka might have two w’s, but he needs another one.
For you gossipers out there? Did Wawrinka have problems staying faithful? After all, there are a lot of “playaz” on the tour. Maybe temptation got the best of him? Oh, crap, I’m speculating. Let’s watch some tennis instead.
