Let’s look closer at the Juciao Spin 1.0 which is a Gen 2 USAPA approved pickleball paddle.
The grip
First off, the shape feels square-ish and the size feels close to an L2 tennis grip size.
As for the grips length for the two-handed backhand: with the dominant palm right over the butt cap, the non-dominant palm’s index finger must be placed on the back surface for the midcourt and kitchen game, while from the Baseline the dominant palm must be placed on the butt cap in order for both palms to fit on the grip (there’s not enough room for both palms to be placed on the handle, unless the dominant palm graps the handle very low and around the buttcap). This is super important to be mentioned!
I have noticed that a smaller grip than my typical L3 tennis grip and more round bevel shape feels much better and makes the paddle feel very whippy.
The looks
Juciao Spin 1.0 has clean cosmetics, wide buddy surface, square shape, big sweet spot and the grit is severely rough.
Baseline feedback
Low power delivery translates in depth coming only with fast and long swings and returns drop a bit short most of the time serves and ground strokes can be executed with very heavy top spin because of the rough grit, but depth can be an issue because of the low powered nature of the paddle which in turn takes a toll on the overall ball placement consistency from the back of the court

Mid-court feedback
The low to moderate power delivery is still present but this makes it super easy to execute the third shot drops in the kitchen once once I dialed in the paddles pop the resets were placed exactly where I wanted either in the kitchen or in the no-nan’s-land aiming my partner’s feet at the midcourt
Kitchen feedback
This is the area where the spin 1.0 shines every kind of dink shot felt absolutely great the cherry on the cake is the Comfort level some of the other paddles gave me some wrist and elbow soreness after extensive kitchen dinking action but the spin 1.0 took no toll on me whatsoever
Stiffness and Comfort
Top-notch comfort from all areas of the court!
Summary, Spin 1.0 from Juciao
Spin 1.0 is Juciao‘s bestselling entry level and most positively reviewed paddle for a good reason in my experience and compared to seven other paddles I’ve been play testing this feels one of the two best of the ones I have it only lacks power and ball placement consistency from the baseline. I highly recommend this paddle to newcomers to the sport and individuals with some tennis background who want to improve their pickleball game.
