Selkirk Vanguard Pro Epic pickleball

The new Selkirk Vanguard Pro series of pickleball paddles are now available, let’s look a bit closer at the options of paddles and what the Vanguard Pro Epic can offer for players.

This is an all-court pickleball racket aimed for good players who are looking for great control and precision but can provide that bit of extra swing speed required. The pop and power coming off the ball when using this racquet is not as strong as some similar paddles.

Together with this release there’s also the Pro Invikta racket that gives a bit more power and around a half inch more length. Choose this one if you need the power and spin of an elongated paddle. The Epic is more of a quicker and forgiving paddle.

You can purchase the Selkirk Vanguard paddles from Pickleball Warehouse.

So what is new for the Pickleball Vanguard Pro series? Well, they use 4 Layers (instead of the usual 2 layers) of 12k Raw Carbon Fiber on each side which gives an even more responsive feel in the shots. These paddles are also great for controlling spin and much of that is thanks to these carbon fiber layers along with the 10.7โ€ by 7.8โ€ hitting surface. The 5.3โ€ upgraded octagonal grip offers even better maneuverability and shot accuracy.

Selkirk claims that the added layers makes these paddles stiffer in some situations, but still maintaining flexibility when itโ€™s needed on the court.
