Dimitrov won the ATP 500 in Acapulco, Mexico, beating Andy Murray on the way to the final. That Dimitrov is a shot-maker of God-like standards, we all knew, but that he could keep it together for a tournament is a great sign for fans of his highly enjoyable playing style. The point above could very well be the point of the year and we’re only in February.
Now that Dimitrov has two titles to his name, it’s getting clearer and clearer that he’s a real contender for top 10 very soon. He will be moving up to #15 in the rankings tomorrow Monday.
ATP World Tour did a small feature on Dimitrov here.
