We have the match we have been waiting for. This is our Alcaraz vs Sinner Indian Wells Prediction. Who do you think wins?
Alcaraz has said that Sinner is the world’s number-one player right now. You can’t argue with that, considering Sinner has won 16 straight matches and has yet to lose in 2024. He also leads their head-to-head 4-3 in matches.
However, Alcaraz swatted away Zverev in the quarter-finals and has played great tennis in Indian Wells. The courts suit him and he is the defending champion. Sinner is the odds favorite according to the best tennis betting sites, but considering Alcaraz’ form and comfort at Indian Wells, it feels more like a 50/50 match.
Our prediction is still that Sinner will keep his record and win in three sets. It will most likely be a titanic battle, but the confidence Sinner possesses at the moment is difficult to overlook.
Medvedev vs Paul Indian Wells Prediction
The second semi-final is also interesting, despite not reaching quite the hype level of Alcaraz vs. Sinner. Tommy Paul seems to have reached a new level in his tennis and is increasingly looking like a player comfortable inside the top ten. I thought Ruud would be too tough, but he handled the match brilliantly and looks like he can be a real threat to Medvedev, who beat Rune in two tight sets.
The bookmakers believe in Medvedev and we know that he is one of the most reliable players on tour on a hard court. Despite complaining about the slow conditions at Indian Wells, he seems to find a way to win there over and over again.
Our prediction is that the theme remains, but 3.5 on a Paul upset is not a bad value bet. We still believe Medvedev takes it in three, though.
