Milos Raonic vs Holger Rune
Seventh seed Holger Rune will just continue to build on some momentum and good form lately, to get through the second round in the BNP Paribas Open. After up-and-down start to the season, he is coming into this tournament off the back of a semi-final in Mexico Open.
His opponent today is Canadian Milos Raonic that actually hasn’t played that much this season. Raonic was supposed to face Nadal in the first round, that of course withdraw from the event. Instead he beat “lucky loser” Sumit Nagal in straight set and looked sharp throughout.
Prediction and Odds: This should be a high intensity game where we see Rune come through in straight sets for odds 2.25 | 5/4 | +125.
Liudmila Samsonova vs Naomi Osaka
Liudmila Samsonova is entering the 2024 WTA Indian Wells tournament today where she will battle it out with Naomi Osaka in what should be a thrilling game.
Naomi Osaka is slowly starting to find the good form and she impressed in the opener against Sara Errani (6-3, 6-1) in a quick win. This will be a real test though against the Russian, but we feel she has a very decent chance here.
Samsonova has not been on fire as of late and actually lost three out of her last four matches. She has a better ranking than her opponent. However, that is not really reflecting what we see on the court at the moment.
Prediction and Odds: We’ll go for a Set Betting 2-1 win for Osaka at the fine odds 2.90 | 15/8 | +187.5.
