30-love is in the air? Let’s hope the match is this intimate.

Tomorrow they play the final at Roland Garros and most tennis lovers will hope for a tight match. In fact, their last four grand slam matches has gone to five sets, with Djokovic winning three of them. When it comes to head-to-head stats in total, Djokovic is leading 17-3 and should in his position as number one in the world, be the favourite.

But this is tennis and anything can happen. Deciding factors:

* How nervous will Djokovic be to win his first French Open and have the chance at a “real” Grand Slam?

* Will the fearless Stan the Man show up or a lacklustre and confused Wawrinka?

* Who can win the energy of the crowd early?

* Wawrinka needs to win the first set. Otherwise there is a risk that Djokovic will just ride the confidence all the way home to a straight sets win.

* If the composed Djokovic shows up, I think he’ll be too good, but if the disgruntled Djokovic appears, Wawrinka has a decent chance at his second slam.

Let’s hope for a titanic battle.
