Both were in awesome form today, Federer beat Berdych 7-6 6-2 6-4 and Djokovic beat Nishikori 6-2 6-3 6.4. We’re ready for a blockbuster semi-final: Federer vs Djokovic (head-to-head 22-22).

So impressed by the Federer composure. 7-5 7-5 6-4 against a Murray who I thought was in top form. We have that final again, Federer vs Djokovic, and this time I feel it’s Federer’s turn. 18th slam, here we come. Some great highlights from Ace Tennis.
The picture will be explained (somewhat) below. I used to ask myself that question when Federer had his golden years between 2004-2007. Was it even fun to watch unless Nadal was on the other side of the net? I think many people thought no, too many matches were a given for the Swiss, but personally I thought his graceful style of play compensated that. That’s the sem-final line-up of Roland Garros. Not a very surprising one either, three top players in the world and I would put Ferrer as number 4 when it comes to clay court tennis (#6 in the overall rankings). We start tomorrow’s play with Nadal vs Ferrer. Like I wrote in my previous post, Nadal looks absolutely unbeatable. He’s moving fantastically, the courts are slower which allows him time to chase down everything and the extra time also benefits the giant swing on his forehand.
