Just as I and many with me had predicted – this was truly Novak Djokovic’s year in Paris (he’s not had a bad year outside Paris either). He beat Andy Murray in the French Open final with the scoreline of 3-6 6-1 6-2 6-4Â and by doing that now holds all four Grand Slam titles at the same time. Astonishing. Whether Djokovic is now on his way towards overtaking Roger Federer and his 17 grand slams remains to be seen, but I would be very surprised if he doesn’t beat Nadal at 14.
