There is a new tennis tuning center on the market. It’s called Metortune and offers measurements of swing, twist weight, weight, and balance. But beyond that it comes with software that makes matching and customizing racquets much easier.

I have been using the Metortune for at least six months and I’ve been impressed with its precision and speed of use. It has become my regular unit for measuring racquet specs and I love the software for tuning and customizing racquets.
The price is 3500 euro (you can use the code TENNISNERD for €500 off), so private consumers might want to look at the Briffidi, but for shops or people who want to run a professional customization service or take their racquet tuning very seriously, the Metorlab is an excellent product.

Our sophisticated autotune feature calculates/visualises all lead postitions/weights for up to 10 racquets in realtime for you.
I would argue that the software/app makes the Metortune machine stand out. I have not seen any competitors provide this kind of software where the computer calculates where and how much lead to place to achieve your desired specs. This is a huge time-saver when it comes to matching racquets or if you have players you work with who know their desired specs, but try different frames.
The software is very impressive and an essential part of the device, although it can be used without it.

I love my Metortune device. I use it daily for my racquet reviews and play-testing. And it is also great for tinkering with specs for my match racquets. Just a brilliant device and software for the true tennis nerd or customizer.
