The Miami Open continues with the third round on Monday and some big match-ups are starting to come up. How about recent Indian Wells winner Carlos Alcaraz against Gael Monfils or big serving American Ben Shelton vs Italian Lorenzo Musetti that has finally found some form!

Lorenzo Musetti vs Ben Shelton
Tennis fans are up for an exciting match on Monday when no 23 seed Musetti takes on the crowd favourite Ben Shelton.
We haven’t seen much top performance matches from Musetti lately. However, it seems on the Miami hard-courts, the Italian has once again found some good form and he’s an exciting player to watch, that’s for sure.
He reached the third round of the Miami Open by beating Roman Safiullin (7-5, 6-1) and played some good tennis.
The 22-year-old Italian can play decent on must surfaces, however we will probably see more of him in the clay season and his results on hard-courts have been mostly on the down this year prior to the Miami Masters. Now he is up against a top form player and I don’t think it’s the best matchup for Musetti.
Shelton a better player
Ben Shelton is overall a better player, playing with the crowd behind him we think his powerful lefty serve and also his strong forehand will cause a lot of problems for his opponent today.
He’s now 17 in the rankings and beat Martin Landaluce 6-3, 6-4 yesterday to reach this round. He looked in form also at the Indian Wells, Jannik Sinner was too strong for him that time.
Predictions and Odds for Musetti vs Ben Shelton
Shelton will manage the high exceptations today and we’re placing our money on the American to go through to the next round.
