It’s the third day of the Indian Wells, many of the seeded players are entering for the first match and we’ll be looking at some odds and predictions for these two clashes:
Andrey Rublev vs Andy Murray
Former no 1 Andy Murray is clearly not at the top of his long career and on top of that, he’s never really played that well at the Indian Wells Masters. In fact, this one and Monte Carlo are the only Masters 1000 event that he never won.
Fifth seed Rublev, of course, have had to overcome the disqualification from the ATP Dubai last week but we think he will manage this and should be able to knock out the 36 year old Brit here.
Their head-to-head record is 1-1, with Rublev winning the last one in Rotterdam in straight sets.
Predictions and Odds
Rublev should win this one but the low odds of 1.20 | 1/5 | -500 is not that tempting. A few odds to consider as Murray looked quite sharp in the opener against David Goffin.

Ben Shelton vs Jakub Mensik
18-year-old Mensik have had a really nice year so far with a very good Grand Slam event in Melbourne and a place in the final in Dubai.
Now he’s facing another young talent in Ben Shelton, maybe the most promising young US player on the tour as of now. The 21-year-old has risen quickly from 573 to 16 in the rankings, in just a bit over 2 years.
This will be the first meeting between these two talents and Shelton is the bookie favourite here at odds 1.62 | 8/13 | -162.5.
We can really see at least one tie-break here so we’ll go for that bet also in this match. For a slightly more gamble, we can see Mensik claiming one set and 2-1 set betting for Ben Shelton gives 3.85 | 11/4 | +275.
