I was fortunate to visit the Mallorca Country Club, a spectacular tennis venue on the beautiful island of Mallorca, Spain.
Besides playing on three surfaces in 2 hours, I also got a tour of the beautiful club from director Marie Walketseder. They pretty much have everything there for the tennis nerd. 12 tennis courts (6 grass, 5 clay, 1 hard), padel courts, a gym, physio, a top-notch restaurant, showers, locker room – the works. The Mallorca Country Club is perhaps the most premium club I’ve visited and I’ve seen my share of tennis venues.
The Mallorca Country Club (check out their official website by clicking the link) hosts the ATP 250 grass court tournament, the Mallorca Championships, which is an important tournament for players preparing for Wimbledon. The grass courts at the club are actually managed and maintained in close contact with the Wimbledon green keepers to keep it as close to the Championships as possible (especially considering the different climates).
Besides the tournament, the Mallorca Country Club arranges concerts, golf tournaments and events throughout the years. All which are free to members of the club.

If you’re interested in checking out the club when you’re in Mallorca, reach out to them via the offical website. They offer weekly memberships or day passes at the club so you can try to play on grass or just take in the serene venue.
Thanks to the team at the club and director Marie for giving me a tour and allowing me to play on the beautiful courts. I will surely be back to enjoy this place in the near future.
