Is this the best spin racquet?

The racquet jungle is vast, but I took out the three main spin racquets and asked myself, is this the best spin racquet?

Is this the best spin racquet?

There are not only three spin racquets out there, but the bestselling models in the category at the moment are the following:

Babolat Pure Aero 2023. Watch my Babolat Pure Aero 2023 review or check it out at Tennis Warehouse, Tennis Warehouse Europe, or Tennis Only.

HEAD Extreme MP Auxetic. Watch my HEAD Extreme Auxetic Review or check it out at Tennis Warehouse, Tennis Warehouse Europe or Tennis Only.

Yonex VCORE 100 2023. Watch my Yonex VCORE 100 Review or check it out at Tennis Warehouse, Tennis Warehouse Europe and Tennis Only.

There are also other racquets in the category, such as the Dunlop SX 300, the Wilson Burn (it is hard to pinpoint exactly what Wilson puts as their spin-focused category, especially with the new Shift being out). But these are the worldwide bestsellers and the ones a player who is looking for spin and power should consider first.

Let’s compare them in this video

If you like the videos I do, please check out and subscribe to my YouTube channel. The goal is to reach 50k subscribers in 2023. I have a lot of tennis content planned for this year already, so stay tuned!

In the video, I try to compare the feel and performance of the racquets in detail. The racquet listed first has the most and the racquet listed last has the least.

Summary

All three racquets in this video and post are excellent racquets. The VCORE 100 is the most powerful, spin-oriented, dampened, but also the most difficult to control. The Aero is in the middle and does most things well, while the Extreme offers the best control and the least dampening, but also the smaller sweet spot and power level.

The best idea is to demo and see which racquet might work better for your game. But I hope this post and video will give you some guidance. There is nothing wrong with a racquet like the Dunlop SX 300, for example, but in my opinion, these are the best ones on the market.

In the end, my personal favorite is the new Aero, which I think is the most balanced of the three.
