Wilson x Britto Racquets

by TN

If you like the colorful and mosaic art of Romero Britto, you will love the new Wilson x Britto racquets! They do make statement.

Who is Britto? Romero Britto is a pop artist or what Wikipedia would call “a Brazilian artist, painter, serigrapher, and sculptor. He combines elements of cubism, pop art, and graffiti painting in his work, using vibrant colors and bold patterns as a visual expression of hope, dreams, and happiness.” No matter what you think of his art, it’s hard not to smile when you see these Wilson x Britto racquets!

Wilson has taken their paint job game to a new level with the Wilson Custom racquets, the Wilson RG racquets and the reverse paint jobs that have been around for a while. The Wilson x Britto follow the collab idea similar to what they did with Bape previously.

Wilson’s sales pitch for the Britto racquets are: “Step on court with a piece of art in hand, explore Britto’s designs brought to life on Clash 100, Clash 100L and Ultra 100.”

It would have been nice to see a Blade or Pro Staff in there, but you can’t get everything!

Where to buy Wilson x Britto racquets?

Wilson Clash 100L

Wilson Clash 100

Wilson Ultra 100

As far as I am aware, you can only get the Britto racquets from Wilson.com. If you use any of the links below, Tennisnerd gets a small commission.

Wilson Ultra 100 Britto
Wilson Clash 100L Britto

I am keen to hear which one of the Wilson x Britto racquets is your favorite. I like that they didn’t just smack the same paint on every racquet, but did three unique designs. I would go for the Clash 100. The Wilson Clash 100L is my least favorite, but the Clash 100 and 100L look cool. I still think it’s tough to beat the Clash 100 Prototype car dazzle paint job!

I love the artwork, although I don’t see myself playing with these racquets as a 50+ year old male tbh.
I think these racquets are probably targeted towards kids and young girls. That’s the demographic I suppose.
Great initiative from Wilson!
In a perfect world all racquets should look like these I think, and everyone would play with gear like this.
