There will be a new colorway available for the Yonex Ezone in mid-January. It is called Aqua Night and is not quite a blacked-out Ezone 2022.
The Yonex Ezone Aqua Night racquets will be available for the 100, 98 and 100L models. I think many tennis nerds and fans would have appreciated a new Ezone altogether, but this is only a cosmetic update. Not that the Ezone 2022 racquets are bad in any way, it is one of my favorite power racquets. A power racquet will give you easier access to free depth and a forgiving sweet spot. The downside is the stiffer feel, which is not to everyone’s liking. The Yonex Ezone racquets are well-dampened with their VDM tech in the handle, but that is another fork in the road because many players don’t enjoy dampened racquets.

I appreciate they didn’t update the current EZone, this is my racquet and it will hurt if it goes discontinued. I like the colour options and this means I can keep using mine and still find them new next year.
Imagine they update the model, it will be like when we lost the EZone DR, nowadays you can only find filthy and used DR’s overpriced in second hand sites.

Even though Yonex is my current racquet, Yonex is visual hell. They are known for doing things extremly ugly. Im always ready to go away from Yonex for that reason. The good thing is their products are good. But come on Yonex, let us enjoy your products. Playing with vcore you start every game 0:30
i agree with you, i m upset, of them a lil, because of that. Percept one of the most ugly racket ever. and this Ezone look like Artengo. the best ezone for me was 2020, look like Pure drive babolat. Blue = power . Best design are babolat, its fun color
