Her game is heavily built up on patiently waiting for her opponent’s mistakes. She rarely misses a ball, but sometimes gets punished due to being too passive. In 2017 she started making strides in the game again, she is playing more aggressively and has now moved up to 2 in the rankings after Simona Halep.
Can she come back to the number one ranking? Yes, the WTA tour has not really had a consistent number one in a while, and unless Halep can keep her away, it seems likely that she will take over the number one spot in the rankings. When you see her playing she looks hell-bent and very determined that this is what she wants.

?Well, like its cousin, the Babolat Pure Drive Plus
, it is a power machine giving the player with a modern game even more of the “good stuff”. The difference between the Pure Aero Plus and the Pure Drive Plus is not huge. The Pure Aero has a different beam design, it is slightly less stiff and has a slightly higher swing weight. To be honest, I do not really know why Babolat persists on having two very similar racquet lines such as the Pure Drive and the Pure Aero, but they sure are bestseller racquets – both of them – so there must be some logic to it.
Other players that endorse the Pure Aero line: Rafael Nadal, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Benoit Paire.
