Jack Draper is a top-10 ranked, left-handed player from the United Kingdom. In 2024 and 2025 we’ve seen the real potential of Draper as a tennis player. At the time of writing, he just won his maiden Masters 1000 event in Indian Wells, beating defending champion Carlos Alcaraz among other top names.

But what is Jack Draper’s racquet? He endorses the Dunlop FX 500.

Jack Draper’s tennis racquet

Jack Draper’s racquet looks like a Dunlop FX 500, but as for many pros using pro stock racquets, there is something else underneath the cosmetic. I got the chance to take a closer look at his racquets at the Boss Open in 2024 and this is definitely not the Dunlop FX 500 or Dunlop FX 500 Tour you buy in a store. But that is not saying these racquets are bad, it is just what the player gets used to early on in his career. You can check out the Dunlop FX range at Tennis Warehouse (US, Canada), Tennis Warehouse Europe or Tennis Only (AU).

According to the Tennis Warehouse forums, it is a Dunlop Revo CV 3.0 F. He has it customized with lead tape in the throat and under the grommets to 320 grams unstrung and strings it with Luxilon Alu Power 1.25. I am unfamiliar with his swing weight or other specifications. If you know, please comment below.

The retail specs of the Revo CV 3.0 F are listed below.

The main difference between the Revo racquet and the FX 500 Tour that Alexei Popyrin uses, is that the string pattern is more open the new 500 Tour. Pros tend to like denser string patterns to achieve more control.

Biography and Career

Jack Draper was born 22 December 2001 in London and was naturally introduced to tennis early as both his parents were involved in tennis in various ways. His father Roger Draper was previously the chief executive of Sport England and also the Lawn Tennis Association.

In 2021 Jack made his ATP Tour main draw debut in singles at the Miami Open. It wasn’t successful though, in the first match he collapsed on the court from a heat-related illness and had to retire. His career was unfortunately plagued with injuries from time to time.

2022 saw his first top 10 match win, against Tsitsipas, and he also qualified for the Next Generation ATP Finals, as the first British player ever. The coming year was mixed with surprisingly good results but also injuries.

In 2024 we saw his career take off in a major way. Not at least by becoming the no 1 British player in the rankings following his ATP title in Stuttgart and recording his best ever win over defending Wimbledon champion Carlos Alcaraz at the Queenโ€™s Club.

He also played at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, where he lost to to seventh seed Taylor Fritz in three sets in the second round.

In 2025, Draper has come back strong following some injury problems and after the final loss in Doha (to Rublev), the Brit beat one start player after another when he clinched his first Masters 1000 tournament at the 2025 Indian Wells.

  1. Definitely think he can be a top ten player. His serve and return of serve are amazing this year.

  2. Draper is using the Dunlop Srixon Revo CV 3.0 F Tour. I have the same racquet and is excellent. Mine weights 334 gms. I put 2 grams all over the bumper guard (from 10 to 2) and 8 grams in the handle. Solid Gun.

  3. OK, a bit surprised I must say. Actually following and watching him in 2025, was pretty sure he was using a wide 100in2 frame… Just an illusion I guess! ^^
Anyway, good shotmaking, great all-court tennis, tenaciousness and tactical sense… Impressive player, really! :)
