The field is set for the ATP Finals

The ATP Finals will be played in Turin between the 13th to 20th of November. The players that will battle for the singles crown are:

Carlos Alcaraz
Rafael Nadal
Daniil Medvedev
Casper Ruud
Stefanos Tsitsipas
Felix Auger-Aliassime
Andrey Rublev
Novak Djokovic

Nadal is aiming to win the event for the first time, but considering that he crashed out to Tommy Paul in the first round of the Paris Masters, I don’t rate his chances highly. Indoor hard courts were never Nadal’s cup of tea.

Djokovic, on the other hand, has the chance to match Federer’s record of six ATP Finals titles. He should be the main favorite for the title, together with Daniil Medvedev, who lost the final last year to Zverev.

We cannot discount the World number one Alcaraz, who will aim to do a “Tsitsipas” winning the Next-Gen finals and then the ATP Finals in consecutive years!

Who do you pick to win the ATP finals?

It’s a tough one to predict. Dennis Timar and I will do our best on the Tennisnerd podcast. And if you have a strong prediction, it might be an idea to place a bet on it on your favorite betting site. Check out one of our betting friends, Betsson or BetUS. But never bet any money you can’t afford to lose!

I think Djokovic takes the title, but it would also be fun with a new winner like Alcaraz or Felix Auger-Aliassime. Felix has been playing the tennis of his life during the last couple of weeks, perhaps he can take it all the way into 2023?
