The last year I’ve been playing almost exclusively with Head Prestige IG MP and it’s probably the racket which I’ve had most consistent results with. Especially since I switched the grips to TK82S (Wilson shape) and added lead to the 3 and 9 o’clock positions, it’s been playing like a dream. A lot thanks to my Babolat RPM blast strings too. Got the opportunity to play-test the new Wilson Blade 93 (2013) tennis racket and for a mid-size racket it hits like a dream. You get a sense of the scalpel-like feel already when you pick it up and weigh it in your hand and hitting with it is nothing short of spectacular. I felt completely in control of my shots and whatever I put in – the racket delivered. Especially on serve and volley, the Wilson Blade 93 shines. Yes, thats my latest quest – finding the best tennis strings. Or maybe I shouldn’t call it “the best”, but just the tennis strings that fit my game the best.
